I own an ax made by Ludell that I use for splitting firewood and it says "indestructible" on the handle....I've found that it actually is destructible and would like to contact the company about it. I can't find them on the web.

I checked everywhere as well. No luck. I'm thinking that it could be a "house brand", meaning if you bought it at Sears or Walmart..those companies make their own stuff in China or wherever, brand it and sell it. Almost all chain retailers do this incl. Costco etc. (just a thought)
