Well, given the FACT that these high energy costs are democrat policy, perhaps so. But the thing is, it's not just conservatives, but liberals too. While the price of oil has been high in recent years, it didn't really take off until the democrats took control of congress.

Hmm..can't imagine why. And since the president made his strong commitment to break our dependency on foreign oil, the price of oil and at the pump has been dropping. That drop has stalled, however, as a result of congressional inaction to follow up on the president's commitment. If they were to share his commitment, the bottom would fall out of the market and energy costs would go down. But that does not fall into their agenda. Democrats want oil costs so high that it is painful to the American public so that they can more easily push their bogus green agenda.
